Mercurial
Ephemeral
Time is like light
It can’t be captured
And you are back on earth again
Where in time
Did you yearn to be born
Civilizations long forgotten
Lightening on the desert sand
Spiritual destiny
What are we questioning?
We are timeless
Time moves like air
It can’t be captured
And the light tricks you
Into wasting a life on the ephemeral, not eternal
Heavenly stores now gone
Of past life achievements
And now two lives diverge for eternity
Like comets on a
Different trajectory
Never to cross paths in heaven again
Like wavelengths and frequencies
Waxing and waning
In spirituality
In different directions
If you could step into any time
Or place
Of human existence
With human frailty
Knowing you would live again
Where in the timeline of humanity
Would you choose to incarnate
Earth is not for the living
The half-sleep of life
Only Heaven
Is awakened
Angels visiting
Ephemeral
Heavenly stores now gone
Of afterlife and past life accolades
And now two lives diverge
For eternity
