They’ve danced slow dances
And some have cried
Anguish in their chords
They’ve paid homage to the dead
Hummed a tune, broken break
And with a cheeky smile she slides away
But I am not going to wait for anyone
On shifting sands
For I have solid rock in my hands
And bitter words from the brightest stars
Affected all the blue guitars
I’ll look for truth north under the Southern Cross
