When I was
A angel amongst the gods
Kings and princes
The great and the good
Does ambrosia taste sweet
Are there petals at your feet
Do you somersault on the grass
Were you there for his last rights
Ephemera, Ephemera
And what of Apollo and Mars
Did they ever find Dionyses
And what of Persephone
Will spring ever come again
We are all ancient
Immortals forever
Adelphi, adelphi
It’s kind Persephone
Help me, help me
He’s emissaries are pulling me down again
You all know, that I never loved him anyway
Give me spring eternal
And I will follow ever summer
Is Hades still in the underworld
Persephone has never loved Hades
She has love for none
But she wants a spring to come
Oh Sheol
Let Odin’s will be done
With Hades in reign
Its not the age of Pericles
For he has never studied
The ancient texts of Alexandria
What is the point of a Valkyrie
If its all up to Hades
He will always want to stop an age
Of Pericles
In Valhalla you will see
Immortals we will be
Ever a Valkyrie
Moving on just for me
Can you keep a secret?
Give me spring eternal
I will follow every summer
Give me spring eternal
The seeds won’t sprout
The flowers won’t bloom
Nothing Hades has sown will grow
Will Persephone see the sun again
She likes the sun on her face
Live always for the afterlife
Pay the ferryman twice
Send no other Valkyrie Odin
I won’t go into the ocean
A leviathan waits there for me
An ocean of jealousy
For they cannot be Valkyries
Persephone
She travels between
Heaven and earth
To the place of the fallen
Oh Elysian fields
Pluto don’t come near me
Valkyries
Serve the best mead
To refresh the Immortals
And warn them of any impending battle
There is no battle at all
Anything you hear is false
No remorse for me
I wish he had never taken hold of me
Wish I had never encountered Hades at all
Oh Odin
I refused to be with him
Because the others were kings and gods
The great and the god
Learned men and warriors
Eternal troubadours,
Evermore
Only some are Immortals
If only we had never met
I was never his secret to keep
Because the others gathered in Elysia without him
All titans
It’s time to let Persephone go
He keeps her power to himself
And it was never his to have
A Valkyrie,
I just didn’t want to stay
In the underworld
Best leave that
To women who are not Immortals
Adelphi, adelphi please set me free
Elysian fields of gold
No one bought, no one sold
Saturn speak to me
Bella donna, oakmoss, narcissus
Peru balsam in my hair
God speed for every warrior saved
To Valhalla and beyond
Give spiritual succour
And give you mead
You can part the waters
You can save my soul
Is there milk and honey
In the Promised Land
And the ephemera are all crying
As all their dreams begin to die
There are things I never say
Because I like life that way
Can you keep a secret
And if we shall ever meet
I will tell you about a dove
Hades speaking:
Keep her in the underworld
Where her light can’t be seen
Not paid for her labour
Not allowed esteem
The seeds are drying up
The land is barren
So terrible to watch him fall so far
After help offered by a Valkyrie
To help him on his path
All for stealing, and causing undue harm
Persephone never loved him anyway
Oh afterlife mortals ruined him
Will the Immortals live to reign again
I am not sure if I will see it
The attention seekers are never immortals
Young souls choose their beauty for narcissim
They want people to look at them
They would make everyone fall
No Valkyries at all
Assigned to those who time is not yet here
The best is yet to come
This circle might lose their rights
In the background now
In future lives and the afterlife
Adelphi, adelphi
It’s Calliope
Oh daughter of memory
Oh Immortals
Not everyone is eternal
Do you seek my secrets like a mystic
I can explain the wonders of the stars
A prophecy is never purchased
Shall we meet on Mount Olympus
Don’t get involved with games of gods
Unless you were born on
Mt Olympus
Pay the ferryman twice
Sophocles if not for Athena
I see the movements of their hear
And what they say is not art
And those new souls
Fame hunters
And what of narcissus
Is she still staring at her reflection?
They fall into nothingness above
Never to be loved
Don’t get involved
With the games of gods
