How wonderful
The heavens will be
Imagine the sky
Imagine the sea
How many suns will shine
How many moons will wane
Will it always be sunny
Will there sometimes be rain
Because I don’t mind
The rain once and a while
Will there be symphonies
Played up above
And stars in the sky
And eternal love
Will God let me see
His grandeur and majesty
Will it be a wonderful world
One without tragedy
Will streets be golden
And every voice pure
Angelic strains is what we will hear
Will there be soul
And rock and roll
And blues and jazz
No pop to speak of
But maybe hip hop
Will I be able to sing
Will I be able to dance
Will I be able to write
Will there be romance
Will there be stars in the sky ?
Fish in the sea
Birds in the air
There won’t still be
You and me
Truth is no one knows
What heaven will be
The afterlife maybe
Just not our destiny
Will my favourite instrument
Still be the guitar
Will acoustic music
Be heard from afar
Will there be sax
Will there be harps
Will there be love songs
And broken hearts
